General
1. Please try and be polite to everyone, even if they are the world's biggest moron.
2. This goes along with RESPECTING STAFF. =D
3. Keep signatures at a good width, make sure they don't stretch the board. 2 pictures per signature. Maximum width for the forum is 550 px.
4. Use the form when joining. And it's GOOD to wait for staff to find something wrong with your post if there is, though it's not required.
5. NO CHATSPEAK. This is an intermediate-advanced site. If you can't even use proper grammar, then you shouldn't be on this site. =D (This goes for the cbox too.)
(ie: u replacing you, r replacing are, 2 replacing too/to. any sort of "lol", "omg" stuff is fine, though. =D)
6. You can have as many characters as you want, as long as they are kept active. You do not need multiple accounts for this, either.
IC
1. Posts should be 150 words+, however we do appreciate quality over quantity. Do not force yourself to post 97095327589 words just to look literate. ^^;
2. Limit your OOC in posts when Roleplaying
3. No spamming, whatsoever!
4. Graphic breeding is slightly allowed. Please do it over PM though.
IC Claiming/Challenging
1. When claiming a land, feel free to create a thread with your wolf in it, claiming the territory. In order to claim the land, it must be done IC.
2. If there is someone that already owns the lands, then you must challenge them for it, unless they have immunity*.
Fighting.
1. You and the person fighting can set up your own terms. I expect that you are mature and responsible enough to be able to handle an IC fight.
- This includes dodges, attacks and number of posts.
- This also includes terms, i.e. "Bob loses an ear if he loses.", "George gets to maim your dog if he wins."
2. Fighting is based on your points and on your skill at roleplaying.
3. Length does NOT matter. If you have an awesomely spectacular 300 word post and your opponent has a 8000 word filler post, you would probably win! Take this into consideration when you post.
This also means, it doesn't matter if you're a big ol' macho wolf fighting a puny little yearling. Though it's very unlikely in real life, it is very possible in RP's because we like things FAIR.
4. Also, when you fight, things will be judged on grammar. (i.e. proper use of nouns, subjects, verbs and so forth. capitilization, word choice and etc. ;])
5. As far as 'fair' goes, this also means that males can fight females, and females are also allowed to lead packs alone.
*IMMUNITY: Immunity can be chosen to be taken in by the leader of the pack. For the first year it can be as long as half a year. Next Spring(Year 2), it will change to a full year. Immunity is where a leader cannot be challenged for their rank as leader. Immunity was created so there is a fair chance for someone to lead a pack. I've noticed on animal sites with packs or tribes that you can challenge for leadership, there are often challenges within weeks of someone setting up their own pack. This is so everyone gets a chance to run a pack for a fair amount of time. If they're a good enough roleplayer, they might even have it for years, despite the immunity. But it keeps them from getting challenged every two seconds.
Mates/Breeding.
1. No graphic breeding. If you want to be that sick, do it over PM please!
2. Can only be done when it says so in the seasons section of the sidebar.
3. To birth, go to the Dryad Valley. Staff will be post puppy stats.
4. When you post in Dryad Valley, follow the rules and form.
